Trip's Tips: The Road to a Better Life
Trip's Tips: The Road to a Better Life is a touching tribute from Jim Brown to his late daughter, Susan Triplett, a beloved classroom teacher and mother of two. Susan provided inspiration and guidance to hundreds of students during her life and career by means of a radiant, giving personality and a collection of advice that she called "Trip's Tips". Among her tips were "Dream Big", "Don't Hate", and "Smile At Least Five Times a Day!" The effect of Susan's death on her school and community was so profound that Susan's children, Nick and Taylor, asked their grandfather to publish the tips in Trip's Tips as a way of honoring their mother's life and extending her influence. Brown hopes that children and students of all ages will find hope and future success by making use of his daughter's wisdom. Colorful, original artwork created by students illuminates the lessons. Susan's favorite tip was "Love and Enjoy Being Loved". She did just that and Brown hopes each reader of this book will do the same as they proceed on their life's journey.
